Music Director Anthony Blake Clark has chosen music that resonates in your head and heart: music that tells emotional stories through breathtaking melodies and powerful texts. Our three-concert subscription series begins with the Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem, paired with the heart wrenchingly beautiful Seven Last Words of the Unarmed by Joel Thompson and illustrated with projection design by Camilla Tassi to create a uniquely Human Requiem. We will once again present our annual holiday tradition, Christmas with Choral Arts special, performed live and later broadcast on Maryland Public Television. Later in the season we will explore works of great celebration as we contrast the Bach Magnificat with the Rutter Magnificat in Praise, Magnified.
